First, startup Matlab. Then, extract the MASTAN2v5.1.zip file, and double click on the MASTAN2v5.1.mlappinstall file. This will start a very simple installer in the Matlab window - select Install. From within Matlab, move to the APPS tab in the toolstrip located at the top of the Matlab desktop. Locate the MASTAN2v5.1 app and click on it to startup MASTAN2. If you plan to program user defined analysis routines, then hover over the MASTAN2v5.1 app icon and this will bring forward a window from which you can scroll down to see where the MASTAN2 source code is located. Click on this link, and Matlab will set the current directory to this location. You can then edit the files in the userdefined folder, as need be.
